What is does is, it allows you to include images in your emails and the images can have the name of the person your sending the email to, in the image. Hence, the ‘personalisation.’
So you could use it for instance to personalize your APS follow up emails.

I would pass on this OTO.
Note that in order to personalize things with someone’s name you naturally need to know their name. You’d normally try to collect this as they’re joining your list, but some people are put off having to give out their name, so your mileage may vary.
I don’t know if it would increase the effectiveness of your emails or not and as I don’t think it’s really necessary I would not recommend it.
